Season Long Grub Control

Mid to late May is the perfect time for applying season long insect & grub control products. Last years grubs have risen to the surface. They do not do much feeding at this time as they are ready to pupate and emerge as beetles, but research is showing some control of these grubs now. More importantly, getting the material down now will allow it to be distributed so that when the beetles lay the new eggs and they hatch, you will get good control. Stopping these new grubs in their tracks is really important. Stop them now and not only will they not be there to feed and damage the lawn during the higher stress time of late summer, they also won't be there for next spring!
