Scientific Name: Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation'
A great violet purple bloomer with a white edge. It produces attractive large panicles of single flowers on an upright plant that will reach 8' or so. The blue-green leaves are rarely fed on by Japanese Beetles

Cultural Needs: - Lilacs in general like sunny locations with good air movement. Avoid low lying areas where the air and mist settles as this may lead to more powdery mildew issues on the leaves. It is a great plant choice for a sunny border planting.
