Ohio Buckeye Bloom

Buckeye, Ohio

Scientific Name: Aesculus glabra
The Ohio Buckeye tree is the State Tree! Grows to 40' tall with a rounded shape. Needs to have good drainage, with ample moisture. Will scorch out in the summer if it is in a stressful site. Avoid planting beside concrete areas which will raise the root temperature in summer. A cooler area by the woods is a much better choice
