Bloom of Endless Summer

Hydrangea Endless Summer

Scientific Name: Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmer'
Finally, a selection that blooms on both old and new wood ensuring consistent flowering year after year. This is the original of the Endless Summer series! It is a mophead type Hydrangea that is very hardy to zone 4 which means it should do very well in our area. Flowers can go up to 8" in diameter. You will normally have blue blooms on the acidic soils in our area. Add a litttle lime to make the soil alkaline and the blooms will be pink.

Remove the spent blooms to encourage reblooming throughout the summer. A nice compact plant, it will grow 3-5' tall and 3-5' wide. A partially shaded planting site is the best choice.
