Bloodgood Maple

Scientific Name: Acer palmatum atropurpurea 'Bloodgood'
Probably the hardiest red leaf Japanese Maple for our area. The good red leaf color is a beautiful addition in the landscape. The small stature of the tree allows it to fit into many different areas of the landscape.

Cultural Needs: - Japanese Maples are tender in our area so it is best to use them in a protected area. A courtyard area with a backdrop will allow the tree to be the specimen it deserves to be.
